This intimate workshop will guide you through the full process of breaking down a hog carcass while teaching the foundational skills every home butcher should know. Whether you’re a homesteader, a culinary enthusiast, or someone who simply wants to understand where their food comes from, this class will give you the knowledge and techniques to do it well.

• How to properly break down a hog carcass
• The essential tools for at-home butchering and processing
• Knife skills and sharpening techniques
• Basics of sausage making and curing, including how to prepare your own bacon
• Practical guidance, best practices, and insider tips for success at home
